Most likely you got the wrong version of the GPS Software, you should contact the Software developers on which OS (Operating System) it is compatible with. By the way, editing these types of software can be considered illegal, which you should try to do anyways, as that might damage your phone.

You need to use MS Activesync to access the files.

Hi, I love getting the full potential of my electronic devices and theres is no way I will accept that most WinCE operated GPSs out there arent capable of playing media such as video and audio, or even have more skins or applications added on, even if these features arent available when purchaised...

Does anyone out there know, how i can access the internal memory, eg: mass storage device of my WinCE operated GPS via USB so I can play around, update or even change the OS...

Turns out most of them dont show up as a mass storage device on a PC, but Im sure it would be possible... Any help would be so handy..

I am considering purchase of the Tom Tom Go 910. Will my Palm Treo 700P connect via Bluetooth? If so where can I read up on the connection process?

Thank you

Don

Has anyone played with this unit yet... I found a few things "hidden"

1. hold volume down while switching on "cleans" the registry
2. dunno how i did it and can't find it again, but had the screen flash and come on screen with turn directions every time a course change needed to be made.
3. opened the bad boy up and found room for a headphone jack and the speaker is only connected to the board via spring contact, should be easy to add a headphone jack for the mp3 player. I'll do that next week...

I have a SAMSUNG i300 Smartphone witch runs Windows Mobile 5.
I installed tomtom 6.
The app.runs OK but when I must specify a BT mouse other then TOMTOM's ownone
I have no control-button on my Phone because I think it can only be done with a touchscreen! Witch mine doesn't have! Is it possible to edit a file so I only leave the right setting available?
